A quick winter hit rather than a full-valley tour: you're based at Gulmarg for two nights so you get real time on the snow - the gondola up to Apharwat, a beginner ski or snowboard lesson, sledging and snow play - bookended by a Srinagar night and shikara ride. Perfect for couples and friends who want the snow without a six-day loop.
Itinerary
- 1Day 1
Arrive Srinagar → houseboat
Airport pickup, check in to a Dal Lake houseboat, evening shikara ride. Early night before heading to the snow.
- 2Day 2
Srinagar → Gulmarg
Drive up to Gulmarg (~2,650 m). Afternoon gondola Phase 1 to Kongdoori and snow play. Overnight Gulmarg.
- 3Day 3
Gulmarg - ski & Apharwat
Full day on the snow: a beginner ski/snowboard session with a local instructor and gondola Phase 2 to Apharwat for the big views. Second night at Gulmarg.
- 4Day 4
Gulmarg → Srinagar → depart
Morning in the snow, then drive back to Srinagar for the airport drop.

Is this better than Kashmir Valley Delight?+
It's different - this is a shorter, Gulmarg-and-snow focused trip. If you want to see the whole valley (Srinagar, Pahalgam, Sonamarg too), pick Kashmir Valley Delight instead.
Is there snow all year?+
Reliable snow is roughly December–March. Outside winter Gulmarg is green meadows and gondola rides - tell us your dates and we'll set expectations.
