Manali
Mountains, rivers & adventure
Manali sits where the Beas river rushes through deodar forest and apple orchards, ringed by snow peaks. It is Himachal's adventure capital and a perennial favourite for families and honeymooners — equal parts cosy café town and launchpad for the high mountains.
From the cedar-built Hadimba Temple and the hot springs at Vashisht to the bohemian lanes of Old Manali, the town is easy to love, and the roads above it lead to some of India's most dramatic landscapes.
Solang & Rohtang
Solang Valley is the year-round draw — paragliding and zip-lines in summer, skiing and snow play in winter. Higher up, the Rohtang Pass (open roughly May–Oct, permit required) opens a world of glaciers and snowfields. We arrange the permit and a driver seasoned on these gradients so you travel safely.
Old Manali & beyond
Wander Old Manali's riverside cafés, visit Hadimba and Manu temples, and soak in the Vashisht springs. Manali is also the gateway to the Atal Tunnel, Lahaul and the wild Spiti Valley — ask us to extend your trip over the passes.
